Temperatures can drop to 8–13°C in the early morning. Strong winds make it feel even colder.
Bromo is an easy hike (~30 min). Ijen is more challenging (3 km, 45–90 min uphill). No special requirements.
Must be worn at Ijen Crater. Sulfur gas is dangerous without protective gear.
